THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation (report number 305/TT-HĐQT dated March 22, 2001) regarding the merger of the Independent Garment Company into the Thang Loi Textile-Garment Company;
At the recommendation of the Director of the Personnel and Organization Department;
Pursuant to the authority delegated by the Prime Minister in the Official Letter number 334/CP-ĐMDN dated April 24, 2001 of the Prime Minister regarding the merger of the Independent Garment Company into the Thang Loi Textile-Garment Company,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Independent Garment Company shall be merged into the Thang Loi Textile-Garment Company, which is a member enterprise of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation.
Article 2. The Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation shall be responsible for directing and guiding the merger of the Independent Garment Company into the Thang Loi Textile-Garment Company in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the State.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. Decisions contrary to this Decision are hereby repealed.
The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of Departments, Directors of Bureaus under the Ministry, the Chairman of the Board of Management and the General Director of the Vietnam Textile-Garment Corporation, the General Director of the Thang Loi Textile-Garment Company, and the Director of the Independent Garment Company are responsible for implementing this Decision.
