established pursuant to Decision No. 56/1999/QĐ-TCCBCP dated December 30, 1999 of the Minister - Head of the Civil Service Committee of the Government (hereinafter referred to as "the Decision"), consists of:
1. Chairman of the Steering Committee: Mr. Nguyen Trong Dieu, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.
2. Members of the Steering Committee:
- Mr. Van Tat Thu, Director of the Office of the Ministry;
- Mr. Do Duc Cuong, Deputy Director of the Center for Technology and Information Data under the Ministry – Secretary of the Steering Committee.
- Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Director of the Civil Servant Department;
- Mr. Vu Viet Thinh, Director of the Organization and Cadre Department;
- Mr. Bui Duc Ben, Director of the State Staffing System Department;
- Mr. Do Xuan Dong, Director of the Inspection-Legal Affairs Department;

Article 2. The Steering Committee for Information Technology of the Ministry shall have the tasks and powers set forth in Decision No. 56/1999/QĐ-BTCCBCP dated December 30, 1999 of the Minister - Head of the Civil Service Committee of the Government on perfecting the composition and amending certain provisions regarding the functions and responsibilities of the Steering Committee for Information Technology of the Civil Service Committee of the Government.
Article 3. The Director of the Office of the Ministry, Directors of the Organization and Cadre Department, Center for Technology and Information Data under the Ministry, Heads of units and organizations under the Ministry, and civil servants named in Article 1 shall be responsible for implementing this Decision from the date of issuance.
