DECREE
Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the expansion of Chúc Sơn town,
Chương Mỹ district, Ha Tay province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries of Ngọc Sơn commune, Phụng Châu commune, and Tiên Phương commune are adjusted to expand Chúc Sơn town in Chương Mỹ district, Ha Tay province as follows:
The entire 339.09 hectares of natural area and 5,036 population of Ngọc Sơn commune are merged into Chúc Sơn town; 131 hectares of natural area and 1,517 population of Phụng Châu commune, and 2.97 hectares of natural area and 140 population of Tiên Phương commune are adjusted to be under the management of Chúc Sơn town.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries for the expansion of the town:
- Chúc Sơn town has 551.86 hectares of natural area and 9,254 population.
- Phụng Châu commune retains 779.46 hectares of natural area and 12,546 population.
- Tiên Phương commune retains 319.20 hectares of natural area and 12,672 population.
Administrative boundary of Chúc Sơn town: East borders Thanh Oai district; West borders Tiên Phương commune and Ngọc Hòa commune; South borders Đại Yên commune and Thụy Hương commune; North borders Phụng Châu commune.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
