Regarding the Adjustment of Administrative Boundaries of Communes and Wards to Establish Wards Belonging to Ha Dong City and Son Tay City, Ha Tay Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. The adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes and wards to establish wards belonging to Ha Dong City and Son Tay City, Ha Tay Province shall be as follows:
1. Establish Ward Van Quan under Ha Dong City based on the adjustment of 139.6 hectares of natural area and 12,547 population from Ward Van Mo.
Ward Van Quan has 139.6 hectares of natural area and 12,547 population.
The administrative boundary of Ward Van Quan: East borders Ward Thanh Xuan Bac, District Thanh Xuan and Commune Tan Trieu, District Thanh Tri, Hanoi City; West borders Ward Nguyen Trai; South borders Ward Phuc La; North borders Ward Mo Lao, Ha Dong City.
2. Establish Ward Mo Lao under Ha Dong City based on the remaining 126.3 hectares of natural area and 14,105 population from Ward Van Mo.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries of communes and wards to establish wards:
- Ward Quang Trung remains with 84.06 hectares of natural area and 16,274 population.
- Commune Phu Luong remains with 671.66 hectares of natural area and 18,263 population.
- Commune Phu Lam remains with 266.42 hectares of natural area and 10,469 population.
- Commune Yen Nghia remains with 692.61 hectares of natural area and 12,853 population.
- Commune Kien Hung remains with 424.15 hectares of natural area and 11,975 population.
- Ward Ha Cau remains with 153.33 hectares of natural area and 8,581 population.
Ha Dong City has 47,917.40 hectares of natural area and 198,687 population, including 17 administrative units directly under its jurisdiction, namely Wards Quang Trung, Nguyen Trai, Ha Cau, Van Phuc, Phuc La, Yet Kieu, Mo Lao, Van Quan, La Khe, Phu La and Communes Kien Hung, Yen Nghia, Phu Luong, Phu Lam, Duong Noi, Bien Giang, Dong Mai.
Son Tay City has 11,346.85 hectares of natural area and 181,831 population, including 15 administrative units directly under its jurisdiction, namely Wards Le Loi, Quang Trung, Phu Thinh, Ngo Quyen, Son Loc, Xuan Khanh, Trung Hung, Vien Son, Trung Son Tran and Communes Duong Lam, Thanh My, Xuan Son, Kim Son, Son Dong, Co Dong.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. Previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior Affairs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
