THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and related agency purchasing, selling, processing, and transshipment activities with foreign countries;

Pursuant to Circular No. 04/2006/TT-BTM dated April 6, 2006 of the Ministry of Trade guiding certain contents stipulated in Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and related agency purchasing, selling, processing, and transshipment activities with foreign countries;

After reaching a consensus through consultation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Finance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Import-Export.

DECISION:

Article 1. Supplementing the quota tariff volume for salt imports in 2008 at Article 1 of Decision No. 014/2007/QĐ-BCT dated December 28, 2007 of the Minister of Industry and Trade concerning the quota tariff volume for imported goods in 2008 by 200,000 tons (two hundred thousand tons).

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette./.
