CIRCULAR
REGULATING NATIONAL TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR THE STANDARDIZATION OF PLACE NAMES TO SERVE MAP PRODUCTION WORK

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 12/2002/NĐ-CP OF JANUARY 22, 2002 ON SURVEYING AND MAPPING ACTIVITIES;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 127/2007/NĐ-CP OF AUGUST 1, 2007 DETAILING IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE LAW ON STANDARDS AND TECHNICAL REGULATIONS;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 25/2008/NĐ-CP OF MARCH 4, 2008 ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT;
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM SURVEYING AND MAPPING AGENCY, THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, AND THE HEAD OF THE LEGAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT,
c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B
Article 1. ATTACHED HERETO IS THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL STANDARD ON THE STANDARDIZATION OF PLACE NAMES TO SERVE MAP PRODUCTION WORK, CODE QCVN 37:2011/BTNMT.
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM JANUARY 10, 2012.
Article 3. THE MINISTER, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT MINISTRIES AND AGENCIES, CHAIRMEN OF PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES OF PROVINCES AND MUNICIPALITIES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, AND RELEVANT ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THIS CIRCULAR./.
