Issuing Economic and Technical Standards for Operation, Exploitation, and Maintenance of Marine Traffic Management Systems for Seagoing Vessels

Pursuant to Decree No. 107/2012/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2012 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the request of the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration and the Director of the Department of Science and Technology,

The Minister of Transport hereby issues this Circular on Economic and Technical Standards for Operation, Exploitation, and Maintenance of Marine Traffic Management Systems for Seagoing Vessels.

Article 1. Accompanying this Circular are the Economic and Technical Standards for Operation, Exploitation, and Maintenance of Marine Traffic Management Systems for Seagoing Vessels (hereinafter referred to as the VTS System).

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from October 15, 2016. It revokes Circular No. 13/2013/TT-BGTVT dated July 4, 2013 issued by the Minister of Transport regarding the issuance of Economic and Technical Standards for Maintenance and Repair of the VTS System on the Saigon-Vung Tau Channel.

Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, and the Heads of agencies, organizations, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
