Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of some communes and wards in Kien Giang Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization - Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Clause 4 of Article 6Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted and some communes and wards in Rach Gia City and the districts of Hon Dat, Tan Hiep, Chau Thanh, Go Rieng, Go Quao, An Bien, An Minh, Vinh Thuan, and Phu Quoc, Kien Giang Province are established as follows:
1. Establishing Ward Vinh Thong under Rach Gia City based on 1,518.56 hectares of natural area and 7,151 population from Commune Phi Thong.
Administrative boundary of Ward Vinh Thong: East borders District Chau Thanh; West borders Ward Vinh Thanh; South borders Ward Vinh Hiep; North borders Commune Phi Thong.
- Commune Phi Thong, after adjusting administrative boundaries, has 3,836.71 hectares of natural area and 10,375 population.
2. Establishing Commune Binh Giang under Hon Dat District based on 12,793 hectares of natural area and 8,434 population from Commune Binh Son.

12. Establishing Commune Tay Yen A under An Bien District based on 3,313 hectares of natural area and 10,818 population from Commune Tay Yen.
Administrative boundary of Commune Tay Yen A: East borders Commune Vinh Hoa Hiep; West borders Commune Nam Yen; South borders Commune Hung Yen; North borders Commune Tay Yen.

13. Establishing Commune Dong Hung A under An Minh District based on 3,364 hectares of natural area and 7,091 population from Commune Dong Hung.
