REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES TO EXPAND THE MARKET TOWN OF YEN NINH IN YEN KHANH DISTRICT, NINH BINH PROVINCE

Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NINH BINH PROVINCE,
RESOLUTION:
Article 1. MERGE THE ENTIRE NATURAL AREA OF 533.86 HA AND POPULATION OF 7,435 OF KHANH NHINH COMMUNE INTO THE MARKET TOWN OF YEN NINH IN YEN KHANH DISTRICT FOR MANAGEMENT.
THE MARKET TOWN OF YEN NINH HAS A NATURAL AREA OF 811.58 HA AND A POPULATION OF 13,782.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF THE MARKET TOWN OF YEN NINH: NORTH-EAST ADJACENT TO KHANH HAI AND KHANH HOI COMMUNES, YEN KHANH DISTRICT; SOUTH-EAST ADJACENT TO KHANH NHAC AND KHANH HONG COMMUNES, YEN KHANH DISTRICT; WEST ADJACENT TO YEN PHONG AND YEN TU COMMUNES, YEN MO DISTRICT; SOUTH ADJACENT TO KHANH NHAC AND KHANH HONG COMMUNES, YEN KHANH DISTRICT; NORTH-WEST ADJACENT TO KHANH VAN COMMUNE, YEN KHANH DISTRICT.
AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES: YEN KHANH DISTRICT HAS A NATURAL AREA OF 13,779.3 HA AND A POPULATION OF 142,029; IT HAS 19 SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS (INCLUDING 18 COMMUNES AND 01 MARKET TOWN); DECREASES BY 01 COMMUNE.
Article 2. This Resolution takes effect from the date of its promulgation.
Article 3. THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NINH BINH PROVINCE, AND THE HEADS OF RELATED ORGANIZATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS RESOLUTION./.
