CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree No. 131 dated July 20, 1946 organizing the Judicial Police, amended by Decree No. 31-SL dated March 19, 1947,
Pursuant to the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Justice,
After the Council of Ministers has agreed.
ISSUES THE DECREE:
Article 1
Article 3 of Decree No. 131 dated July 20, 1946 is now amended as follows:
"Article 3 - The Judicial Police includes judicial police officers and members of the Judicial Police:
a) Judicial police officers are preliminary judges, prosecutors, Deputy prosecutors,
b) Members of the Judicial Police are:
1- In the court system: Primary judges,
2- In the police system: Heads and Deputy Heads of Political Affairs Departments, Heads and Deputy Heads of Judicial Departments, Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs of Provincial Police Departments, Heads and Deputy Heads of Political Sections, Heads and Deputy Heads of Judicial Sections, Heads and Deputy Heads of Public Order Sections of Provincial Police Departments, District Chiefs, Deputy District Chiefs, Heads and Deputy Heads of Sections in districts within cities.
c) ...unchanged.
Article 2
The Minister of Interior and the Minister of Justice shall implement this decree.
