DECREE-LAW
OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
NUMBER 203 DATED JULY 18, 1947
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 47-SL dated May 1, 1947 organizing the General Command;
In response to the proposal of the Chief Commander of the National Army of Vietnam, the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Interior concur;
Considering the necessity during the resistance period,
ISSUES THE DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
Establish a "Military Zone" comprising Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien provinces in War Zone IV.
Article 2
The Military Zone of Binh Tri Thien shall be under the command of a Zone Commander.
Article 3
Appoint Mr. Dao Nam as the Zone Commander of the Binh Tri Thien War Zone.
Article 4
The Minister of Defense and Chief Commander of the National Army of Vietnam shall implement this Decree-Law.
