THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises; Decree No. 38/CP dated April 28, 1997 amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 50/CP; and Circular No. 08BKH/DN dated June 11, 1997 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment guiding the implementation of the aforementioned two Decrees;

Pursuant to the authorization of the Prime Minister under Official Letter No. 1039/CP - ĐMDN dated November 13, 2000 regarding the establishment of state-owned member enterprises of the Northern Food Corporation;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Cadre and Civil Service Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Establish the Food Packaging Trading Company;

International trade name: Food Package Trading Company;

Abbreviation: FOODPATRACO.

The Food Packaging Trading Company is a subsidiary unit subject to separate accounting of the Northern Food Corporation, entitled to open bank accounts in accordance with State regulations and to use its own seal for transactions;

The main office of the Company is located at District 2, Tan Thuan Dong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City;

Article 2. The Food Packaging Trading Company shall have a General Director and Deputy General Directors assisting him/her, appointed by the Board of Directors and the General Director of the Northern Food Corporation;

The functions, tasks, powers, organization, staffing, and business sectors of the Company shall be determined by the Northern Food Corporation based on the principle of streamlined organization, effectiveness, and within the scope of packaging materials and other business sectors permitted by the Corporation. The Northern Food Corporation is responsible for registering the business for the Food Packaging Trading Company in accordance with the provisions of the law;

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Cadre and Civil Service Department, Heads of units related to the Ministry, the Board of Directors, the General Director of the Northern Food Corporation, and the General Director of the Food Packaging Trading Company are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
