MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES

Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 2, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Fisheries;

At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

 

DECIDES:

Article 1: To amend certain provisions in four Industry Standards (TCN) issued pursuant to Decision No. 01/2004/QĐ-BTS dated January 14, 2004:

1. TCN 28 102:2004: Mixed Pellet Feed for White Shrimp

2. TCN 28 187:2004: Mixed Pellet Feed for Giant Freshwater Prawn

3. TCN 28 188:2004: Mixed Pellet Feed for Snakehead and Basa Fish

4. TCN 28 189:2004: Mixed Pellet Feed for Tilapia

1. Item 4 in Table 3 of the four TCNs shall be amended as follows:

- Replace the phrase "Hazardous substances (Aflatoxin)" with "Hazardous substance (Aflatoxin B1)."

- Replace the phrase "not permitted" with "not exceeding 10 ppb."

2. Clause 4.4.4 of the four TCNs shall be amended as follows:

- Replace the phrase "Determine hazardous substances (Aflatoxin) according to Vietnam Standard TCVN 4804-89" with "Determine hazardous substance (Aflatoxin B1) according to Vietnam Standard TCVN 6953:2001."

Article 2: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3: The Heads of the Ministry's Office; Heads of Departments, Inspectorates, and Units under the Ministry; Directors of Fisheries Departments and Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development responsible for fisheries management; and Directors of enterprises producing and trading in mixed pellet feed for White Shrimp, Giant Freshwater Prawn, Snakehead, Basa Fish, and Tilapia are responsible for implementing this Decision.
