DECREE
Regarding the establishment of wards under the districts of Hai Chau, Lien Chieu, and Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang city
In accordance with the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City,
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish wards under the districts of Hai Chau, Lien Chieu, and Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang city as follows:
DECREE:
Article 1. 1. Divide Ward Hoa Cuong under District Hai Chau into Ward Hoa Cuong Nam and Ward Hoa Cuong Bac.
- Ward Hoa Cuong Nam has an area of 245 hectares and a population of 12,704.
The administrative boundary of Ward Hoa Cuong Nam: East borders District Ngu Hanh Son; West borders Ward Khuê Trung; South borders Hoa Vang District; North borders Ward Hoa Cuong Bac.
- Ward Hoa Cuong Bac has an area of 317 hectares and a population of 19,591.
The administrative boundary of Ward Hoa Cuong Bac: East borders District Ngu Hanh Son; West borders Wards Hoa Thuan Tay and Khuê Trung; South borders Ward Hoa Cuong Nam; North borders Wards Hoa Thuan Dong and Hoa Thuan Tay.
2. Divide Ward Hoa Thuan under District Hai Chau into Ward Hoa Thuan Dong and Ward Hoa Thuan Tay.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
