THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Medicine Law No. 34/2005/QH11 dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Drug Administration and the Head of the Personnel Department - Ministry of Health.

DECISION:

Article 1. Transfer the implementation of the function and task of assisting the Minister of Health in state management of vaccines and medical products from the Vietnam Preventive Medicine Authority to the Vietnam Drug Administration.

Article 2. The Vietnam Preventive Medicine Authority shall be responsible for transferring all documents and files related to the management of vaccines and medical products to the Vietnam Drug Administration.

The Vietnam Drug Administration shall be responsible for receiving and organizing its structure and staff to implement the state management functions and tasks of vaccines and medical products.

Article 3. Repeal the provisions regarding the implementation of the state management functions and tasks of vaccines and medical products of the Vietnam Preventive Medicine Authority at Decision No. 20/2005/QĐ-BYT dated July 26, 2005 of the Minister of Health stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Preventive Medicine Authority;

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 5. Mr./Mrs.: Director of the Office, Heads of the Personnel Department, Directors of the Vietnam Preventive Medicine Authority, Vietnam Drug Administration - Ministry of Health, Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
