DECREE-LAW

No. 24 dated September 10, 1945

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

WHEREAS the North Vietnam budget must bear the expenses for national security which were previously covered by the Indochina budget;

WHEREAS the current situation requires it,

NOW, THEREFORE, I ISSUE THIS DECREE-LAW:

Article 1: A sum of one million piastres (1,000,000 đ) shall be allocated to the North Vietnam fund for expenditures on national security.

Article 2: This amount of one million piastres shall be deducted from the Indochina fund, item 6, section 1, year 1945.

Article 3: The Ministers of Interior and Finance are hereby authorized to implement this decree-law./.
