THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Decree No. 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP of the Government;

Pursuant to Decision No. 594/QD-TTg dated April 15, 2013 of the Prime Minister approving the project Comprehensive Forest Inventory and Assessment for the 2013-2016 Period;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1586/QD-TTg dated September 11, 2013 of the Prime Minister promulgating the operational regulations of the Steering Committee for Comprehensive Forest Inventory and Assessment for the 2013-2016 Period;

Pursuant to Decision No. 2152/QD-BNN-TCCB dated September 23, 2013 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development assigning the task of managing and organizing the implementation of the project Comprehensive Forest Inventory and Assessment for the 2013-2016 Period;

Pursuant to Circular No. 12167/BTC-HCNS dated May 12, 2013 of the Ministry of Finance regarding the advance payment of funds for the implementation of forest inventory and assessment in 2013;

Considering the proposal of the General Department of Forestry and the Director of the Financial Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Approves the plan to implement forest investigation in 2013 (as detailed in Appendix 01 attached) under the project Comprehensive Forest Inventory and Assessment for the 2013-2016 Period, with a total budget of 45 billion VND, including:

1. General Department of Forestry: 31,998,493,116 VND

1.1. Forest Protection Service: 1,013,938,668 VND

1.2. Institute of Forest Inventory and Planning: 30,984,554,448 VND

2. Institute of Forest Ecology and Environment - University of Forestry: 13,001,506,884 VND;

Article 2. Directs the General Department of Forestry to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units to organize the implementation of the project and use the funds for their intended purposes effectively according to the approved plan.

Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the General Director of the General Department of Forestry, the Director of the Planning Department, the Rector of the University of Forestry, and the heads of related agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
