Pursuant to Decree No. 49/CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Central Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology at Document No. 450/VSR dated June 26, 2003;
At the proposal of the Director of the Preventive Medicine and HIV/AIDS Control Department and the Director of the Treatment Department of the Ministry of Health;

Article 1. The document "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Malaria" is hereby issued together with this Decision.
Article 2. The "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Malaria" shall be applied in all state, semi-state, and private healthcare facilities.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations that conflict with the provisions of this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Preventive Medicine and HIV/AIDS Control Department, the Treatment Department, the Inspectorate, the Heads of other Departments, the Heads of other Bureaus under the Ministry of Health, the Directors of Provincial and Municipal Health Departments, the Directors of hospitals and institutes under the Ministry of Health, the Principals of medical universities and secondary health schools, and the Heads of health sectors are responsible for implementing this Decision.
