RESOLUTION

THE STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Pursuant to Article 53 of the 1959 Constitution;

Pursuant to Chapter II of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly concerning the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

At the proposal of the General Secretary of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

RESOLUTION:

Article 1. During the period between two sessions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, when it is necessary to resolve urgent and important issues within the authority of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly without convening the Standing Committee immediately, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly may, at the proposal of the General Secretary of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, decide to seek opinions at home from members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.

Article 2. The method of seeking opinions at home is as follows:

1- The General Secretary of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly sends to members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly a report on the content of the issue requiring opinions, a draft resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and other necessary documents.

2- Members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly write their opinions on the report, sign, and return it to the General Secretary.

3- The General Secretary compiles the opinions. If the majority of members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly agree, then the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly signs the resolution.

Article 3. At the next session of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the General Secretary reports to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the results of the opinion-seeking process conducted at home.
