DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the change and supplementation of members of the Ho Chi Minh Award Council and the State Award for Science and Technology
and the State Prize for Science and Technology
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decision No. 666/TTg dated August 21, 1997 of the Prime Minister on the list of members of the Ho Chi Minh Award Council and the State Award for Science and Technology;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment at Report No. 362/BKHCNMT-KH dated February 22, 2000 regarding the change and supplementation of members of the Ho Chi Minh Award Council and the State Award for Science and Technology,
DECISION:
Article 1. The members of the Ho Chi Minh Award Council and the State Award for Science and Technology are changed as follows:
- Appoint Professor, Academician, Doctor of Science Vu Tuyen Hoang, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology, as Vice-Chairman of the Council replacing Professor Ha Hoc Trac;
- Appoint Professor Le Huu Nghia, Deputy Director of the National Academy of Political Science named after Ho Chi Minh, as a member of the Council replacing Professor To Huu Ruua.
Article 2. Supplement the following members as members of the Ho Chi Minh Award Council and the State Award for Science and Technology.
- Professor Pham Song, former Minister of Health;
- Professor Ngo The Dan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of central government agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and members of the Ho Chi Minh Award Council and the State Award for Science and Technology are responsible for implementing this Decision.
