GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Based on the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Based on Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

Based on Decree No. 87/1998/NĐ-CP dated October 31, 1998 of the Government on the issuance, withdrawal, and replacement of paper money and metallic currency;.

At the proposal of the Director of the Issuance and Treasury Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Cash Adjustment System for the Issuance Reserve Fund and the Issuance Business Fund within the State Bank of Vietnam System is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 46/1999/QĐ-NHNN6 dated February 5, 1999 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam promulgating Regulations on Issuance Operations and Cash Adjustment within the State Bank of Vietnam System; Decision No. 39/2002/QĐ-NHNN dated January 16, 2002 amending and supplementing certain articles and clauses of the Regulations on Issuance Operations and Cash Adjustment within the State Bank of Vietnam System issued together with Decision No. 46/1999/QĐ-NHNN6 dated February 5, 1999.

Article 3. The Director of the State Bank of Vietnam’s Office, the Director of the Issuance and Treasury Department, the Heads of relevant units under the State Bank of Vietnam, the Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam Branches, and the Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam Provincial and Central City Branches are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
