REGARDING THE INCREASE IN SALARIES FOR STAFF AND EMPLOYEES IN THE THAI MEOW AUTONOMOUS ZONE AND LAO CAI PROVINCE.

AFTER RECEIVING THE AGREEMENT OF THE PRIME MINISTER'S OFFICE, THE JOINT MINISTRIES HAVE REDEFINED THE LEVEL OF SALARY INCREASE FOR THE THAI MEOW AUTONOMOUS ZONE AND THE WHOLE OF LAO CAI PROVINCE AT 8% (RATHER THAN 5% AS IN OTHER LOCALITIES) TO BE IMPLEMENTED FROM OCTOBER 1, 1956.
WITH THE 8% SALARY INCREASE ADDED TO THE REGIONAL ALLOWANCE, THE BASIC SALARY OF WORKERS AND STAFF IN THE THAI MEOW AUTONOMOUS ZONE AND LAO CAI PROVINCE WILL BE RAISED AS FOLLOWS:
REGION 1: 8% + 20% = 28%
REGION 2: 8% + 13% = 21%
REGION 3: 8% + 6% = 14%.
THE OBJECTIVES AND METHODS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ABOVE SALARY INCREASE SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH JOINT MINISTRY CIRCULAR NO. 21-TT-LB DATED NOVEMBER 15, 1956.
