DECISION
Adjustment of some subordinate organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,
DECISION:
Article 1. Adjust some subordinate organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as follows:
1. Establish the Crop Production Department and the Livestock Service under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development based on restructuring the Agricultural Department. The Crop Production Department and the Livestock Service shall be allocated operating funds, have legal personality, use seals, and open separate bank accounts in accordance with the law. The offices of the Crop Production Department and the Livestock Service shall be located in Hanoi City.
2. Establish the Information and Statistics Center based on the Information Center and the Statistics Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Information and Statistics Center shall be a public service unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, having legal personality, using seals, and opening separate bank accounts at the State Treasury in accordance with the law. The office of the Center shall be located in Hanoi City.
12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentEntrust the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to specify the tasks and organizational structures of the newly adjusted organizations as provided for in Article 1 of this Decision.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, and Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
