DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES

Regarding the transfer of statistical tasks from the Planning and Investment Department
to the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics

MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES

Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated June 21, 1994, of the Government stipulating the tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Fisheries;

Pursuant to Decision No. 192/TS-QD dated June 27, 1991, concerning the issuance of regulations on the functions and tasks of Departments, the Office, and the Inspectorate of the Ministry;

Pursuant to Decision No. 662/TS-QD dated November 24, 1983, regarding the establishment of the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics;

Pursuant to the conclusion of the Minister of Fisheries at the meeting with the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics, the Office of the Ministry, and related Departments on April 4, 2000;

At the proposal of the Director of the Organization and Labor Department;

DECISION:

Article 1:Now, the unified management and organization of implementation of statistical work, including the compilation of the annual statistical yearbook of the sector, the direction of statistical reporting systems, and the leading of certain sectoral surveys, as well as the exploitation of results from other surveys, are transferred from the Planning and Investment Department to the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics for management.

Article 2:The Director of the Planning and Investment Department is responsible for transferring all ongoing and completed work contents, files, documents, relevant texts, and certain positions directly involved in the tasks specified in Article 1 above to the Director of the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics.

The Directors of the Organization and Labor Department, the Finance and Accounting Department, the Planning and Investment Department, and the Director of the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics are responsible for organizing the handover and receipt to ensure that statistical work is carried out effectively and that assigned tasks are completed.

Article 3:This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby repealed.

Article 4:The Heads of the Office, Heads of Departments, Inspectors General, and the Director of the Center for Information on Science and Technology and Fisheries Economics are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
