PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 257/SL
HA NOI, FEBRUARY 11, 1956
PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree No. 126-SL dated July 19, 1946 regarding the modification of administrative boundaries;
Pursuant to Decree No. 130-SL dated November 7, 1949 temporarily placing Thuỷ Nguyên District under Kiên An Province into Quang Yên Province;
Pursuant to Decree No. 221-SL dated February 22, 1955 establishing the Hong Quang Zone;
At the proposal of the Minister of Interior Affairs;
To be appropriate with current circumstances and facilitate management,
ISSUES THE DECREE:
Article 1.Thuỷ Nguyên District, which was previously temporarily placed under Quang Yên Province (Hong Quang Zone), is now returned to Kiên An Province (Left Bank Zone).
Article 2. The Minister of Interior Affairs shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
