Article 1. The Medical Waste Management Regulation is hereby promulgated along with this Decision.
Article 2. The Medical Waste Management Regulation shall be applicable to all state-owned, private health facilities, and foreign-invested health facilities. During implementation, health facilities need to select appropriate methods in accordance with the conditions specified in this Regulation.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect 60 days from the date of signature.
Article 4. The following officials are responsible for implementing this Decision: Chief of Office, Directors of the Treatment Department, Legal Affairs Department, Equipment and Health Construction Department, Preventive Medicine Department, Inspector General, Heads of other Departments under the Ministry of Health, Directors of provincial and centrally-administered city health departments, Directors of institutes and hospitals under the Ministry of Health, Principals of medical training institutions, Heads of health sectors, persons in charge of foreign-invested health facilities, and private health facilities./.
