DECISION
On the issuance of contents and list of completion documents for road and bridge construction projects
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
- Pursuant to Decree No. 22/CP dated March 22, 1994 issued by the Prime Minister on tasks, powers, responsibilities in state management and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transportation;
- Pursuant to Decree No. 42/CP dated July 16, 1996 issued by the Government on the Regulation on investment and construction management;
- Pursuant to the Construction Quality Management Regulation promulgated under Decision No. 498/BXD-GĐ dated September 18, 1996 of the Ministry of Construction;
- Pursuant to Directive No. 193/1998/TT-BGTVT dated July 4, 1998 issued by the Ministry of Transportation on language used in projects and completion document preparation for construction works;
- Considering the proposal of the Director General and Quality Control Department of the Vietnam Highway Administration regarding contents and list of completion documents for road and bridge construction works after reviewing and amending the draft submitted by the Vietnam Highway Administration;
DECISION
Article 1: To issue the contents, guidelines, and lists of completion documents for road and bridge construction projects attached to this decision.
Projects such as ports, port bridges, river-sea dikes, and highway tunnels may refer to these contents when preparing completion documents.
Article 2: Language used in completion documents:
Clause 2.1: Domestic projects - Vietnamese language.
Clause 2.2: Projects using foreign capital:
a/ Documents, reports, papers, contracts, budgets: Follow the provisions of clause (I-1) of Directive No. 193/1998/TT-BGTVT: Use two languages - Vietnamese and the agreed foreign language.
b/ Drawings: Use drawings in the agreed language under the agreement.
Article 3: The Director of the Ministry's Office, Directors General and Directors of the Construction Management Department for Transportation Projects, Directors General and Directors of Vietnam Highway Administration, Directors General and Directors of construction and consulting companies participating in transportation construction projects shall implement this decision. This decision takes effect from the date of issuance and revokes previous guidance documents on completion documents for road and bridge construction issued by the Ministry of Transportation prior to this decision.
