Regarding the establishment of the National Advisory Council for the National Brand Program

National Brand Program

 

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to Decision No. 253/2003/QĐ-TTg dated November 25, 2003 of the Prime Minister approving the project on building and developing the National Brand until 2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Trade,

DECISION:

Article 1. The National Advisory Council for the National Brand Program shall be established with the Minister of Trade as Chairman of the Council; a Vice Minister of Trade as the Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Council; a Deputy Director of the Government Office and a Vice Minister of Industry as Deputy Chairmen of the Council, and other members of the Council named in the list attached to this Decision.

Article 2. The National Advisory Council shall have the task of adopting a system of criteria for selecting products bearing the National Brand emblem and annually awarding the Prime Minister's Export Prize.

Article 3. Delegating the Minister of Trade to issue the Operational Regulations of the National Advisory Council for the National Brand Program; to decide on the establishment of the Organizing Committee and Secretariat of the National Brand Program; and to announce adjustments to the list of the National Advisory Council when changes are proposed by relevant Ministries and sectors.

Article 4. The National Advisory Council shall operate from the date this Decision takes effect until the conclusion of the National Brand Program.

The operating expenses of the National Advisory Council shall be included in the operating expenses of the National Brand Program as stipulated in Article 3 of Decision No. 253/2003/QĐ-TTg dated November 25, 2003 of the Prime Minister approving the project on building and developing the National Brand until 2010.

Article 5. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 6. The Ministers of Trade and Finance, and the individuals named in the list of the National Advisory Council attached to this Decision, are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
