Pursuant to Decree No. 54/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Decree No. 28/2004/ND-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/ND-CP;
Pursuant to Decree No. 179/2004/ND-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government promulgating the list of products and goods that must be inspected for quality;
Pursuant to the guidance of the Prime Minister in Official Letter No. 6692/VPCP-KG dated November 14, 2006 on strengthening the management of product and goods quality circulating in the domestic market and export/import;
Upon the proposal of the Director General of the Standard Metrology Quality Control Agency and the Head of the Legal Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. The attached Decision hereby issues the "Regulations on the responsibility for organizing the implementation of product and goods quality inspection circulating in the domestic market and exported/imported."
Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 3. The Standard Metrology Quality Control Agency, the Goods Quality Management Bureau, the Provincial and Central City Standard Metrology Quality Control Agencies, and related organizations and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
