Decision No. 26/2008/QD-BTC On Amending and Supplementing the Table of Contents of the State Budget

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to Decree No. 13/2008/ND-CP dated February 4, 2008 of the Government on the organization of specialized agencies under provincial People's Committees and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government;

Pursuant to Decree No. 77/2003/ND-CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

Pursuant to management and accounting requirements for planning capital;
At the proposal of the Director of the State Budget Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Amend and supplement Chapters and Sub-items of the state budget classification system which has been promulgated pursuant to Decision No. 280 TC/QD/NSNN dated April 15, 1997 and other Decisions of the Minister of Finance, and apply from June 1, 2008; specifically as follows:

1. Amend and supplement Chapters:

a) Amend the names of the following Chapters:

- Chapter 2.016: "Department of Industry" to "Department of Industry and Trade".

- Chapter 2.025: "Department of Culture Information" to "Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism".

- Chapter 2.027: "Department of Posts and Telecommunications" to "Department of Information and Communications".

- Chapter 2.021: "Department of Transport and Public Works" to "Department of Transportation".

b) Supplement the following Chapter:

Chapter 2.028: "Department of Planning and Architecture".

2. Amend and supplement Sub-items of Item 150 "Planning Expenses" as follows:

a) Amend the names of the following Sub-items:

- Sub-item 01: "Industry Planning Expenses" to "Expenses for Developing Sectoral, Field, and Main Product Planning".

- Sub-item 02: "Urban and Rural Construction Planning Expenses" to "Expenses for Urban and Rural Community Construction Planning".

- Sub-item 03: "Territorial Planning Expenses" to "Expenses for Comprehensive National, Regional, and Territorial Economic-Social Development Planning".

b) Supplement the following Sub-item:

Sub-item 04: Land Use Planning Expenses.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, central-level social organizations, and provincial People's Committees and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for directing, implementing, and guiding subordinate units to implement this Decision.

Article 4. The Director of the State Budget Department, the Director of the Ministry’s Office, and the heads of units under the Ministry of Finance are responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of this Decision./.
