Issuing National Technical Regulations on Telecommunications

MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS
BASED ON THE LAW ON STANDARDS AND TECHNICAL REGULATIONS dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to the Law on Telecommunications dated November 23, 2009;
Pursuant to the Law on Radio Frequency dated November 23, 2009;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 187/2007/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 25, 2007 ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,
c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B
Article 1. Attached to this Circular are 04 National Technical Regulations on Telecommunications as follows:
1) National Technical Regulation on terrestrial mobile radio equipment with detachable antennas for data transmission (and voice) - Code QCVN 42:2011/BTTTT;
2) National Technical Regulation on terrestrial mobile radio equipment with detachable antennas for analog voice communication - Code QCVN 43:2011/BTTTT;
3) National Technical Regulation on terrestrial mobile radio equipment with integrated antennas for data transmission (and voice) - Code QCVN 44:2011/BTTTT;
4) National Technical Regulation on frequency spectrum and radio emission applicable to radio transceivers - Code QCVN 47:2011/BTTTT.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2012.
Article 3. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Science and Technology Department, the Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Information and Communications, the General Directors, the Directors of telecommunications enterprises, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
