 THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to the Food Safety Law dated July 26, 2003; Decree No. 163/2004/ND-CP dated September 7, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Food Safety Law;;

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decision No. 650/2000/QD-BTS dated August 4, 2000 of the Ministry of Fisheries (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) on the issuance of the Regulations on Inspection and State Certification of Aquatic Product Quality;

At the proposal of the Director of the Quality Management Department for Agricultural, Forestry, and Aquatic Products,

DECISION:

Article 1. Announcing the list of specified inspection criteria for batches of aquatic products exported to markets requiring certificates, imported for processing, and batches of aquatic products leaving the factory for domestic consumption, including:

- The list of sensory/external criteria (Annex 1).

- The list of microbiological criteria (Annex 2).

- The list of chemical criteria (Annex 3).

Article 2. For batches not falling within the scope of Article 1 of this Decision, enterprises shall coordinate with inspection authorities to determine the list of inspection criteria based on the requirements of the importing country and Vietnam.

Article 3. Assigning the Directorate of Quality Assurance of Agricultural and Forestry Products and Aquatic Products to update and announce the list of specified inspection criteria to relevant units for implementation.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature;

Article 5. The Heads of the Office, Heads of Departments, Inspectors of the Ministry, Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, and aquatic product production and business establishments are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
