GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the State Bank Law dated May 23, 1990;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
At the proposal of the General Inspector of the State Bank.

DECISION

Article 1. Amending and supplementing certain clauses of the regulations on the organization of supervision and inspection of printing money, securities with monetary value, and important printed materials at the National Banknote Printing Works and Bank Printing Houses, issued pursuant to Decision No. 24/QD-NH4 dated January 9, 1996 of the Governor of the State Bank:

1. Clause 3.2 of Article 3 shall be amended as follows:

"When the Bank Printing House exports special white paper from the paper processing warehouse to the production department; or from the paper bundle warehouse to the production department, it must undergo direct, on-site inspection and supervision by the inspector of the General Inspection Department with the following contents:"

2. Clause 4.3 of Article 4 shall be abolished.

3. Article 6 shall be amended as follows:

"At the end of December each year, the on-site supervisor together with the inspector of the General Inspection Department shall conduct an inspection to ensure the balance between the white paper exported for printing money and important printed materials with securities with monetary value and the finished products, defective printed products, and defective printed paper."

ARTICLE 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 3. The Director of the Governor's Office, the General Inspector, the Director of the National Banknote Printing Works, the Bank Printing Houses, the heads of Departments, Bureaus, and related units of the Central State Bank shall implement this decision.
