DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT
Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to establish wards and communes
belonging to the city of Tam Ky and the districts of Tra My, Hiep Duc, Phuoc Son, Quang Nam province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department under the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish wards and communes belonging to the city of Tam Ky and the districts of Tra My, Hiep Duc, Phuoc Son, Quang Nam province as follows:
1. Establishing An Phu ward within the city of Tam Ky based on 1,462.15 hectares of natural area and 6,692 population of Tam Phu commune.
Administrative boundary of An Phu ward: East borders Tam Phu commune; West borders Phuoc Hoa and Tan Thanh wards; South borders Hoa Huong ward; North borders Tam Thang commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish An Phu ward, Tam Phu commune retains 1,611.85 hectares of natural area and 8,063 population.
2. Establishing Tra Ka commune within Tra My district based on 5,350 hectares of natural area and 1,359 population of Tra Giap commune.
Administrative boundary of Tra Ka commune: East borders Quang Ngai province; West borders Tra Giap commune; South borders Quang Ngai province; North borders Tra Giap and Tra Thanh communes.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tra Ka commune, Tra Giap commune retains 6,450 hectares of natural area and 2,342 population.
3. Establishing Song Tra commune within Hiep Duc district based on 3,337 hectares of natural area and 1,534 population of Phuoc Tra commune.
Administrative boundary of Song Tra commune: East borders Que Binh and Phuc Gia communes; West borders Phuoc Son district; South borders Phuoc Tra commune; North borders Hiep Hoa commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Song Tra commune, Phuoc Tra commune retains 11,784 hectares of natural area and 1,150 population.
4. Establishing Phuoc Xuan commune within Phuoc Son district based on 13,092.4 hectares of natural area and 1,192 population of Kham Duc town.
Administrative boundary of Phuoc Xuan commune: East borders Phuoc Hiep commune; West borders Nam Giang district; South borders Phuoc Duc commune and Kham Duc town; North borders Nam Giang district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Phuoc Xuan commune, Kham Duc town retains 2,998 hectares of natural area and 4,986 population.
5. Establishing Phuoc Loc commune within Phuoc Son district based on 9,499.6 hectares of natural area and 1,007 population of Phuoc Thanh commune.
Administrative boundary of Phuoc Loc commune: East borders Phuoc Thanh commune; West borders Phuoc Cong commune; South borders Kon Tum province; North borders Phuoc Kim and Phuoc Chanh communes.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Phuoc Loc commune, Phuoc Thanh commune retains 6,230.5 hectares of natural area and 1,040 population.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department under the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
