DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Supplementing four occupational diseases
to the List of Occupational Diseases Covered by Insurance
THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to Article 106 of the Labor Code dated June 23, 1994 on the issuance of the List of Occupational Diseases;
Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
After receiving the agreement opinion of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs at Circular No. 2550/LĐTBXH-ATLĐ dated July 26, 2006;
After receiving the participation opinion of the General Confederation of Labor Vietnam at Circular No. 1188/TLĐ dated July 20, 2006;
At the proposal of the Director of the Preventive Medicine Department of Vietnam;
DECISION:
Article 1. Supplementing four occupational diseases (with diagnostic criteria and appraisal standards attached) to the List of Occupational Diseases Covered by Insurance:
1. Occupational asthma (Diagnostic criteria and appraisal standards specified in Appendix 1).
2. Occupational carbon monoxide poisoning (Diagnostic criteria and appraisal standards specified in Appendix 2).
3. Occupational oil rash (Diagnostic criteria and appraisal standards specified in Appendix 3).
4. Occupational dermatitis, nail inflammation, and paronychia (Diagnostic criteria and appraisal standards specified in Appendix 4).
Article 2. Workers who have been appraised as suffering from the diseases prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision shall enjoy the benefits stipulated in the Labor Code and guiding documents for its implementation.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Preventive Medicine Department of Vietnam, the Heads of Departments and Bureaus under the Ministry of Health, the Heads of units directly under the Ministry of Health, the Directors of Provincial Health Services under central cities and provinces, the Heads of health sectors and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
