Regarding the establishment of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu University

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister approving the planning of the university network for the period 2001-2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (Memorandum No. 11601/TTr-BGD&ĐT dated December 16, 2005), the Association for Promoting Education of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province (Memorandum No. 10/HKH-TT dated January 19, 2006), and the People's Committee of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province (Letter No. 391/UBND-VP dated January 20, 2006) regarding the establishment of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Private University.

DECISION:

Article 1. Establish Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu University.

Article 2. Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu University is an institution of higher education with legal personality, having its own seal and separate account.

Article 3. Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu University operates in accordance with the Regulations on the organization and operation of private universities issued together with Decision No. 14/2005/QĐ-TTg dated January 17, 2005 of the Prime Minister.

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Association for Promoting Education of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
