CIRCULAR
Repeals stipulating the issuance of automatic import permits for motorcycles with engine capacities of 175 cm3 and above
from 175 cm33 or more.
Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2017/ND-CP dated August 18, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
BASED ON Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2017 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management;
CONSIDERING the proposal of the Director of the Department of Import-Export;
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADEissues this Circular abolishing the regulations on the issuance of automatic import permits for motorcycles with engine capacities of 175 cm3 and above3 or more.
Clause 4 of Article 6REPEALS Circular No. 06/2007/TT-BTM dated May 30, 2007 of the Ministry of Trade (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade) guiding the importation of motorcycles with engine capacities of 175 cm3 and above and Article 3 of Circular No. 10/2011/TT-BCT dated March 30, 2011 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade amending, supplementing, and abolishing certain administrative procedures in the field of import and export pursuant to Resolution No. 59/NQ-CP dated December 17, 2010 of the Government on simplifying administrative procedures within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Article 2. The import procedures for motorcycles with engine capacities of 175 cm3 and above shall be carried out at customs offices in accordance with current regulations.
Article 3. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect from November 5, 2018.
