Regarding the approval of the "population and family planning strategy for the year 2000"
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the report submitted by the Minister in charge of the National Committee for Population and Family Planning,
DECISION:
Article 1
Approves the "Population and Family Planning Strategy until the Year 2000" developed by the National Committee for Population and Family Planning.
Article 2
Directs the Minister in charge of the National Committee for Population and Family Planning to guide and instruct the effective implementation of this Strategy; at the same time, continue to supplement and perfect the documents of the Strategy to be consistent with the economic and social development of the whole country and each region and locality. The population and family planning information-education-communication strategy (1992-2000), which was approved by Decision No. 315-CT dated August 24, 1992, needs to be adjusted in accordance with the spirit of this population and family planning strategy.
Article 3
The Ministers of the Ministries, the Heads of ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of agencies under the Government, and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signature./.
