RESOLUTION

On the attire for People's Court Judges

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY STANDING COMMITTEE

Pursuant to Article 6 of the National Assembly Organization Law;

Pursuant to Article 42 of the People's Courts Organization Law;

Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and the President of the Supreme People's Court at Document No. 304/TTr-QLTA dated September 18, 2001,

DECIDES:

Article 1. Judges of People's Courts at all levels shall be provided with attire for use according to their years of service as follows:

- Winter and autumn clothing: one set every five (5) years;

- Spring and summer clothing: two sets every five (5) years;

- Long-sleeved shirts: two pieces every five (5) years;

- Ties: two pieces every five (5) years;

- Leather shoes: two pairs every five (5) years;

- Socks: one pair per year.

Article 2.

1. The form and color of the attire for Judges at all levels of People's Courts shall be prescribed by the Minister of Justice in consultation with the President of the Supreme People's Court.

2. The attire for People's Judge shall comply with the regulations on military uniform of the Vietnam People's Army.

Article 3. When performing their duties as Judges of People's Courts, they must wear the provided attire according to the prescribed regulations.

Article 4. The Government and the Supreme People's Court shall be responsible for implementing this Resolution within the scope of their functions, tasks, and authorities.
