Regarding the Provision of State-owned Rice Reserves to Provinces to Mitigate the Consequences of Typhoon No. 11

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to the Decree No. 118/2008/NĐ-CP dated November 27, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1779/QD-TTg dated November 4, 2009 of the Prime Minister on providing financial support and rice to provinces to mitigate the consequences of Typhoon No. 11;
At the request of the Director General of the State Reserve Administration,

DECISION:

Article 1. The National Reserve Corporation shall provide without charge 10,000 tons of rice from the National Reserve (now the State Reserve) to the following provinces: Binh Dinh Province: 3,000 tons; Phu Yen Province: 4,000 tons; Khanh Hoa Province: 1,000 tons; and Gia Lai Province: 2,000 tons, to assist localities in mitigating the consequences of Typhoon No. 11.

Article 2. The National Reserve Corporation shall coordinate with the People's Committees of the aforementioned provinces to promptly organize the delivery and receipt of rice at district centers according to the provincial allocation plan.

The National Reserve Corporation shall reduce the State Reserve capital for the aforementioned quantity of rice at the accounting price currently being tracked and report the final settlement of relief supplies in accordance with regulations.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance. The Director of the National Reserve Corporation, the Director of the Department of State Budget, the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, the Director of the Price Management Department, and the Head of the Ministry's Office are responsible for implementing this Decision.
