Regarding the issuance of the Temporary Adjustment Factor for Unit Price Budget Estimates
for geological works
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decree No. 175/1999/NĐ-CP dated December 15, 1999 of the Government adjusting the minimum wage from 144,000 VND/month to 180,000 VND/month for those receiving salaries and allowances from state budget funds;
Pursuant to Decision No. 570/QĐ-KHĐT dated April 10, 2000 of the Minister of Industry approving the report on establishing the adjustment factor for wages in the unit price budget estimates for geological works;
Delegating the Management Boards of High-Tech Zones in provinces and centrally governed cities the authority to approve plans for importing finished products to combine with export products and to approve the liquidation of machinery, equipment, transportation means, materials, and raw materials of joint ventures, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, export processing enterprises, and contractual joint ventures under the management of the delegated authority.

Article 1. Issued temporarily along with this Decision is the Table of Adjustment Factors for Unit Price Budget Estimates for Geological Works applicable to the prices already issued by the Ministry of Industry in Decisions No. 1822/1998/QĐ-TCKT dated August 31, 1998; No. 1823/1998/QĐ-TCKT dated August 31, 1998; No. 1824/1998/QĐ-TCKT dated August 31, 1998; No. 67/1998/QĐ-BCN dated October 12, 1998; No. 68/1998/QĐ-BCN dated October 13, 1998; No. 69/1998/QĐ-BCN dated October 14, 1998; No. 39/1999/QĐ-BCN dated July 5, 1999; No. 40/1999/QĐ-BCN dated July 5, 1999; No. 43/1999/QĐ-BCN dated July 21, 1999.
Article 2. The Adjustment Factor for Unit Price Budget Estimates for Geological Works shall be used together with the Decisions mentioned in Article 1 in preparing and reviewing budget estimates for geological projects, preparing budget plans, settling accounts for completed geological steps and tasks from January 1, 2000.
Article 3. The Vietnam Geological Survey is assigned to guide geological units in uniformly applying this table of adjustment factors.
Article 4. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of the Departments of Planning and Investment, Technology Management and Product Quality, Finance and Accounting, Organization and Cadres, Legal Affairs, the Director of the Vietnam Geological Survey, the Director of the Institute of Geological Research and Mineral Resources, and the Heads of geological units and units conducting basic geological surveys and mineral resource surveys are responsible for implementing this Decision.
