Pursuant to Decision No. 176/2002/QĐ-TTg dated December 3, 2002 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the Implementation Program of Directive No. 58/CT-TW of the Politburo on intensifying the application and development of information technology in the industrialization and modernization cause from 2001 to 2005 (referred to as the Steering Committee 58);
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.
DECISION:
Article 1. Permitting the Steering Committee 58 to use the name in documents and on seals as: National Steering Committee on Information Technology.
Article 2. The Steering Committee 58 is permitted to use the name in international transactions as: The National Steering Committee on Information and Communication Technologies (abbreviated as NCICT).
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairmen of provincial people's committees under the central government, Chairman and members of the Steering Committee 58 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
