Issuing National Technical Regulations on Underground Urban Structures
(Part 1: Metro Trains; Part 2: Car Garages).

MINISTER OF CONSTRUCTION
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations No. 68/2006/QH11 dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 41/2007/NĐ-CP dated March 22, 2007 of the Government on Underground Urban Construction;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 17/2008/NĐ-CP dated February 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;
Considering the proposal by the Director of the Science, Technology, and Environment Department and the Legal Affairs Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1. To issue National Technical Regulations on Underground Urban Structures with code QCVN 08:2009/BXD:
- Part 1. Metro Trains;
- Part 2. Car Garages.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from October 1, 2009.
Article 3. The Minister of Construction, Heads of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
