CIRCULAR
Issuing the "National Technical Regulation on Safety Equipment for Seagoing Ships"

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
AT THE REQUEST OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE INSPECTION AUTHORITY AND THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT;
The Minister of Transport hereby issues the Circular on the "National Technical Regulation on Safety Equipment for Seagoing Ships",
Article 1. Attached hereto is the "National Technical Regulation on Safety Equipment for Seagoing Ships"; Registration Number: QCVN 42 : 2012/BGTVT.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from February 1, 2013.
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry’s Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Ship Survey Bureau, the heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
