ISSUING THE SUPPLEMENTARY LIST OF PLANT VARIETIES PERMITTED FOR PRODUCTION AND TRADE IN VIETNAM

PERMITTED FOR PRODUCTION AND TRADE IN VIETNAM

WHEREAS Decree No. 199/2013/NĐ-CP dated November 26, 2013 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

WHEREAS Plant Variety Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBT QH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;Decision VQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

CONSIDERING the proposal of the Director of the Crop Production Department;

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT hereby issues the Supplementary List of Plant Varieties Permitted for Production and Trade in Vietnam.

Article 1. ANNEXED TO THIS Circular is the Supplementary List of Plant Varieties Permitted for Production and Trade in Vietnam, including: 32 rice varieties, 14 corn varieties, 01 sorghum variety, 03 mushroom varieties, 01 tobacco variety, 02 sugar cane varieties, 01 soybean variety, and 01 robusta coffee variety (Annexed List).

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from September 10, 2016.

Article 3. The Head of the Ministry’s Office, the Director of the Crop Production Department, Heads of units under the Ministry, Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, central city departments, organizations, and individuals related to this matter are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
