CIRCULAR
ISSUING NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON WEIGHT STATION FOR VEHICLES

Based on the Law on Animal Husbandry 2018;
BASED ON THE LAW ON PRODUCT QUALITY 2007;
BASED ON THE LAW ON TRAFFIC ON ROADS 2008;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 56/2022/ND-CP dated August 24, 2022 of THE GOVERNMENT stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science, Technology, and Environment Department and the Director General of the Vietnam Highway Administration;
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR ON NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON WEIGHT STATION FOR VEHICLES.
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR ARE THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON WEIGHT STATION FOR VEHICLES.
REGULATION NUMBER: QCVN 66:2024/BGTVT.
Article 2. Effectiveness
1. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM SEPTEMBER 10, 2024.
2. ABOLISH CIRCULAR NO. 09/2013/TT-BGTVT DATED MAY 6, 2013 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ON NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS QCVN 66:2013/BGTVT ON WEIGHT STATION FOR VEHICLES.
3. FIXED WEIGHT STATIONS AND MOBILE WEIGHT STATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN INVESTED IN AND PUT INTO OPERATION BEFORE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS CIRCULAR SHALL CONTINUE TO OPERATE UNTIL THE ROAD LAW TAKES EFFECT.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTORS OF VIETNAM HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, VIETNAM EXPRESSWAY ADMINISTRATION, VIETNAM MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTION ADMINISTRATION, THE HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS CIRCULAR ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION./.
