Of the Minister of Transport No. 2851/2000/QD-BGTVT dated September 28, 2000 on classifying national roads for freight rates in 2000

THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 22/CP dated March 22, 1994 stipulating the functions, tasks and powers of the Ministry of Transport;
Considering the reinforcement of bridge and road repairs, the implementation of upgrading projects in recent times, and taking into account the current road conditions;
Based on the proposal by the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration.

DECISION

Article 1: The classification of national roads managed by the central government for calculating freight rates using automobiles is hereby announced (with detailed tables attached).

According to standards, each Department of Transport (Transport Construction) shall classify local roads and announce them through provincial People's Committees.

Article 2: Starting from October 1, 2000, the calculation of freight rates must be carried out according to the road classification table issued with this Decision.

Article 3: The Director of the Ministry’s Office, the Director of Vietnam Highway Administration, General Directors of highway management zones, Directors of Departments of Transport (Transport Construction), and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
