CIRCULAR
Issuing the "List of Standards and Permissible Limits for Food Safety of Certain Animal-Origin Food Products Imported, Produced, and Circulated Domestically under the Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development"
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Decree No. 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP;
Pursuant to the Food Safety Ordinance No. 12/2003/PL-UBTVQH adopted by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on July 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decree No. 163/2004/ND-CP dated September 7, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Food Safety Ordinance;
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby issues the List of Standards and Permissible Limits for Food Safety of Certain Animal-Origin Food Products Imported, Produced, and Circulated Domestically.
Article 1. 1. National Technical Regulation on Railway Traffic Signals, number QCVN 21:2025/BXD.
1. The List of Standards and Permissible Limits for Food Safety of Certain Terrestrial Animal-Origin Food Products (Annex 1);
2. The List of Standards and Permissible Limits for Food Safety of Aquatic Animal-Origin Products (Annex 2).
Article 2. This list serves as the basis for designated testing criteria. The designation of testing criteria is based on the aforementioned list and the following information:
1. Compliance history of the manufacturer and importer;
2. Actual risk situation from the place of production and the producing country;
3. Actual situation of the consignment and accompanying documentation;
4. The designated testing criteria must be decided by the head of the inspection agency, in accordance with the guidance of the superior agency.
Article 3. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2010.
Article 4. This list will be reviewed and amended as necessary based on management requirements. During implementation, if there are any difficulties, relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals should promptly report them to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for consideration and resolution.
Article 5. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Quality Control Bureau for Agricultural and Forestry Products and Fisheries, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
