Issuing National Technical Regulations on Occupational Safety
when working in confined spaces
Pursuant to the Labor Safety Law No. 84/2015/QH13 dated June 25, 2015;
Pursuant to Decree No. 39/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2016 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Labor Safety Law; The Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issues this Circular on national technical regulations for labor safety when
BASED ON DECREE NO. 14/2017/NĐ-CP OF FEBRUARY 17, 2017, ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT, PROVIDING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF LABOR, WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRSPursuant to the request of the Director General of the Department of Vocational Education;
At the proposal of the Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Inspectorate;
working in confined spaces. This Circular promulgates national technical regulations for labor safety when working in confined spaces.
1. Organizations and individuals producing, importing, distributing, installing, using, repairing, maintaining, and servicing elevators shall be responsible for complying with the regulations set forth in the standard issued together with this Circular.
Designation: QCVN 34:2018/BLDTBX.
1. Organizations and individuals employing workers to work in confined spaces shall be responsible for complying with the provisions set forth in the standards attached to this Circular.
Article 2. Implementation
2. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-affiliated agencies, provincial People's Committees, municipal People's Committees under the central government, and related organizations and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Circular.
1. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2019.
Article 3. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2019.
2. ANY DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED DURING IMPLEMENTATION SHOULD BE PROMPTLY REPORTED TO THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR, INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS FOR STUDY AND RESOLUTION./.
