PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decree No. 07/2001/NĐ-CP dated February 1, 2001 of the Government on the National University of Hanoi;
Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister approving the planning of the network of universities and colleges for the period 2001-2010;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Circular No. 10529/TTr-BGDĐT dated September 21, 2006 regarding the establishment of the University of Economics under the National University of Hanoi,
DECISION:
Article 1. The University of Economics is established based on the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Hanoi.
Article 2. The University of Economics under the National University of Hanoi is a higher education institution; it has legal personality, its own seal and separate account, and is subject to state management in education by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Article 3. The University of Economics under the National University of Hanoi operates according to the Charter of Universities issued together with Decision No. 153/2003/QĐ-TTg dated July 30, 2003 and the Regulation on Organization and Operation of the National University of Hanoi issued together with Decision No. 16/2001/QĐ-TTg dated February 12, 2001 of the Prime Minister.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, Rectors of the National University of Hanoi are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
